All selected timber used comes from sustainable milling practices, recycled kauri, and oaks, with a specialty in rimu.
Rimu is regarded as one of the finest furniture timbers today with its unique grains, fiddles and lights. Rimu in most cases is over 100 years old, so to give the rimu its respect and true worth Wayne crafts the timber in a manner that it will serve and give pleasure, if treated well and with respect, for the next 100 years.
Macrocarpa is another quality furniture timber now finding favour with the discerning home owner. A timber that also has life and vitality, and one that will also give excellent service.
Wayne does not try to compete with Asian imported timber products and neither he should. His specialty is building one-offs, a special requirement to suit the owner's particular needs.
